Ausindustry is the Australian government’s business unit for providing information and assistance to Australian industry.

Austrade is Australia's export and investment facilitation agency.

Australia-Indonesia Business Council (AIBC) has offices in the capital city of each state and territory in Australia.  See also the Indonesia-Australia Business Council listing below.

Australian Business Limited is a member-based business improvement organisation. The website provides information and advice on business issues, such as employment laws, business investment, policy development and trade.

Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) enforces company and financial services laws to protect consumers, investors and creditors.

Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)

Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) website has links to member chambers of commerce in each state and territory and to industry associations.

Australian Industry Group (Ai Group) representing and serving the interests of Australian industry.

Business Entry Point provides information on services to industry provided by Australian governments (Federal, State and Territory).

Department of Business, Industry and Resource Development, Northern Territory, comprises industry and economic development related agencies, including Asian Relations and Trade.

Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia. A very informative site. The trade section provides guidelines on investing as well as links to business organisations, customs and tariff data, and business directories.

Invest Australia provides business links to all states and territories and is a helpful starting point for market research.

Western Australia Department of Industry and Technology. A very informative site.

Western Australian Business and Investment Gateway provides an entry point for Government business services in Western Australia.

World-Wide Web Virtual Library. These pages on Indonesia are hosted by the Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies at the Australian National University.

The IABC has branches in Semarang, Surabaya and Bali. The major Australian legal and accounting firms with a presence in Indonesia are members of the IABC. They produce a range of detailed guides on doing business in Indonesia and can be contacted through the IABC website.

Indonesian Bureau of Statistics 

Investment Coordinating Board (Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal – BKPM) has offices at the provincial level. The BKPM website offers information on business and investment opportunities in Indonesia.

Kang Guru Radio English (KGRE) offers a weekly radio program for English language learners throughout Indonesia and produces a free magazine, student and teaching material.

Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) (Departemen Perindustrian dan Perdagangan – Deperindag) has offices in the provinces that can be located through the Ministry’s website.

National Agency For Export Development (NAFED) is a special service agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

SMERU is an Indonesian research institute which provides information and analysis on Indonesian social and economic issues.
